Here are some photos for those of you that may be interested in a look behind the scenes of a restoration. This was a late era minimoog, (built around1980 based off chip dates) that had been used and abused , lived it's life in a damp area for way too many years. When this unit came to me, almost all the pots and rotary switches were seized from oxidation and I literally had to cut most of the knobs off with a rotary tool due to the fact that the allen head set screws had turned to rusty powder.  This was probably the most extreme restoration I have had yet but it turned into one of the nicest minimoogs around.
